Tips on How to Overcome Fatigue

To overcome fatigue, there are several things you can do, namely:

a. Enough sleep

Sleep and fatigue have a very strong correlation. When tired, you should lie down and close your eyes. Sleep is the best rest to restore body fitness.

b. Consume nutritious and balanced food

Having a healthy and balanced diet can increase energy. Make sure you get enough nutrition by consuming fresh, whole foods from various food groups. Pair carbohydrates with protein for an energy boost. Also include lots of fiber and anti-inflammatory foods. Following a balanced diet can also promote healthy digestion.

c. Exercise regularly

Exercise releases endorphins which naturally increase energy. This can also lead to better quality sleep. Regular exercise helps you feel fitter and more energized. Exercise habits can be started gradually over several weeks. For example, the first week starts with a routine of walking for 15 minutes, the second week increases to 30 minutes. In the third week, you can combine walking with other aerobics, such as cycling or swimming.

d. Drink lots of water

Stay well hydrated to keep your body functioning optimally. Dehydration can cause low energy levels. People who reduce their water intake have fewer feelings of calm and fatigue more easily.

e. Reduce caffeine and alcoholic beverages

Avoid drinking drinks containing caffeine such as coffee after dinner so that your night's sleep is not disturbed and you can sleep soundly. Likewise with alcoholic drinks because too much caffeine and alcohol in the body can also trigger fatigue.

f. Quit smoking

Smoking can reduce oxygen levels, making it difficult for you to breathe.

g. Reduce stress

Every human being alive has felt stress. Managing stress is the best way to overcome it. When you are stressed, try doing some activities that can improve your mood, such as listening to music, walking, yoga or doing activities you like.

h. Consult a doctor

If fatigue still cannot be resolved with the things above, you need to consider seeking help from professionals such as doctors or psychologists. Consult your complaint further to get more appropriate treatment.
